A new creative project

An animated short, Open Windows

Most of you probably know me for my editorial cartoons but this is where you’ll read about a new creative project, an animated short titled Open Windows. It originated from a mural I created in 2020 during the early and uncertain days of the pandemic. Even after completing the mural I still felt there was a deeper story to be told, one which required movement and sound.

Check back regularly for postings of concept art and news about the progress of Open Windows. In my next update I’ll introduce you to my partner Stacey Newton, the academy award winning producer of the animated short Hair Love. And there’s already been some really exciting news regarding the music, which features prominently and plays an important role in the short.
