The next couple of days were filled with presentations, book signings, and press events. A pubic exhibition of editorial cartoons from around the world lined the shores of Lake Geneva, where these photos were taken:

This was the first time I met the Tunisian cartoonist, Nadia Khiari (Willis from Tunis). I was familiar with her and her work for many years since we’re both members of Cartooning for Peace, a sister organization to Freedom Cartoonists, but I have never met her in person. An outspoken, smart, and very brave cartoonist- I just think she’s amazing. Nadia also introduced me to a lovely woman cartoonist from Geneva, Benedicte Sambo.
