My early inspirations

Alan Gardner was so kind to ask me to contribute to the Daily Cartoonist series, The Cartoonist’s Cartoonists- a regular feature showcasing artists who inspired and influenced a creator’s work. Since my art education started primarily at CalArts in the character animation program, my selections weigh heavily towards design and storytelling.
