Amen! Never stop reminding us, Ann

So true. Trump has threatened the press, even Fox News, for years. Unfortunately the pressure seems to work. Oligarchs like Bezos seem not to care if their media loses thousands of subscribers. I miss the Washington Post, having abandoned it with the non endorsement of Harris, but will never return until the cowardly ownership changes.

I'm not sure I will ever return to WAPO. Unfortunately, my subscription doesn't expire until September. I am so regretful that I ever signed on...

A friend felt an individual cancelling Prime or WAPO does not mean much. I disagreed. Movements start with small things. My Prime membership is long gone, and I will never use a Dash cart again. What a relief it was to trade our Tesla last week. Face Book is a challenge, but it is also on the chopping block.

As long as the treasonous oligarch Bezos owns the newspaper, I will never go back.

Mine (finally) expires this week. It took Jennifer Rubin's leaving to make me cancel, and I'm ashamed I didn't after the endorsement snafu or Ann's departure. I won't go back while Bezos still owns it.

It nearly killed me to cancel my prime membership, but I did. That's gone as of March 30.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure you can get a pro-rated rebate by calling 800-477-4679. Your cancellation will be effective immediately and you'll get the money returned to you.

He definitely doesn’t want the opposition knowing what he is up to. Neither do his primary handlers. It is a lot of work keeping Donnie on track. So, you keep the sunshine right on the Orange Ogre! Good work, Ann!

Good cartoon. While trying to hide his dictatorial coup from us, Trump is angrily accusing the press, the very people whose job it is to reveal it to us, of being *our* enemy. He is hoping his accusation will distract and confuse. This cartoon sheds light on all this.

This is FUNtastic!

I live in the Sunshine State, so the relevance of this hits home in so many ways-from our Governor, Senators (current and former) who are constantly ‘throwing shade’.

So, this little light of mine, I am going to let it shine!

I live in the Free State of Florida, as well. I keep asking myself, who in the world came up with, "the Free State of Florida"? Obviously, one who doesn't pay property taxes or exorbitant insurance rates! Oh, that must be DeSantis and Scott! How quickly I forget! I keep trying to escape, but somehow I find myself back here. Now that the property values have plummeted, I will probably be here a while longer

I can't come up with any names, but it seems to be same attitude that named the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea."

Running away solves nothing. If we want to save this country, then we should stay and fight. We must fight and take our country back from those criminals and traitors.

It is clear to all, whether they admit it or not, that POS POTUS (credit to Frederick Poag for the apt acronym) is totally unhinged, that his sole purpose for being relected was to seek revenge on those who tried to hold him accountable for his insurrection, among other things. Well, maybe not his sole purpose...he and Rocketman are stealing money from the citizens of this country as if it were tea leaves from my grandmother's tea cannister.

The really sad thing is, he told us what would happen once he was elected and he was elected anyway. Weren't voters paying attention? No, I guess not.

Think of it, tho: those who voted for the POS did so from hate and resentment angainst anyone seen to have more than they did.

Open windows drive Trump nuts (more nuts than he already is), so he will try over and over to close them. Eventually, someday, he will suffocate in his self made airless environment and all the windows will open again. Some Open Windows will never be able to be closed; it takes only a little light to show the way through the dark.

First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. 435 U.S. at 798.

What terrifies me now is that Congress seems to be uninterested in lawmaking, so, it's legal if the president does it. Which he is.
