And if we were to go back to the America the two of them seem to want to recreate through their voting pattern: Thomas and his wife would be pulled over in their 1956 Buick convertible and arrested in any southern state. And Alito would waiting tables in Little Italy for members of the New York bar.

I zoomed in on that a dozen times trying to see if there was any more to it than a rat going under Alito’s robe but I couldn’t see anything.

Am I just looking for something that’s not there?

The second rat is crawling out of Alito’s sleeve — under the ‘decent sign’ he is holding. Hope that helps.

I refer to them as Drumpf's "PET" court. As for Thomas and Alito, maybe the rats are just pets? (Asking for a friend.)

At the risk of splitting hairs... Although the stricken look on John Roberts' face is amusing, I'd be inclined to draw him looking resigned (if I could draw). I can't help feeling he's with Trump (and Thomas and Alito) on this issue, but so far feels constrained by that pesky Constitution of ours...

I think that’s the point, right? That Roberts is uncomfortable delivering a decision based on the constitutionality of the case, rather than what Fearless Leader wants the court to do.

Fairly often I read pieces written by justices insisting that off the bench, they are all the Very Best of Friends. 🤫🙂🤣

Sure didn't take long for the 2 dissenters to resume their usual stances, making last week's 9-0 ruling look like an outlier.

As always: sad, but so very true, the two of them are either the most corrupt or the most hen-pecked "justices." Most likely both, because the hens like all the money and goodies they are deriving through their marriages.

However, the opposite also is true. Thomas and Alito continually disappoint (but not the Heritage Foundation) us.
