That the 6 are masked and armed says it all. A horrendous decision worthy of any kangaroo court in hungary, russia,, turkey, or any other authoritarian dictator model government.
With the exception of the three liberal justices, our Supreme Court is a joke. We could laugh at them--if the decisions they hand down were not so consequential and devastating to the fabric of our society. This panel captures well their sycophantic support for the regime and their abandonment of the oaths they all swore to uphold the Constitution.
As always ... AMAZING character studies. (Terrific side-eye.)
Are we allowed to make requests? I'd seriously love to see your reflection on Zohran and his take down of smarmy. And the completely insane responses from, like, Loomer. Now that I'm asking, would love to see your take on her, and the whole comportment of MAGA beauties. Who aren't aging well. Some really good material, I'm thinking.
Aren't all of Trump's toadies the most unappealing group of people you would never hope to meet? Could be challenging. I keep imagining The Orange Turd as Pinocchio---trying to work out just how long that nose would be now---after his total life of lies. It kind of boggles the mind.
Oh, thank you for this. And, though I suppose it may be hyperbole, it is so very likely, nicht wahr? Somewhere in this post someone called her Karolyin' Leavitt. A nice name, I thought.
I think I wrote something like that somewhere along the line---about what it would be like for, say, a Pam Bondi, to have to kiss Trump's ass every day. I don't think I can imagine those lives. It has to eat you up inside---you almost expect them to disintegrate.
The Supreme Court's duty is not to smooth the way for the executive branch, but to ensure that the executive branch adheres to its constitutional constraints and that the constitutional rights of individual human beings are protected.
Perhaps part of this Court should take more time reading the Federalist Papers, if they need to better understand intent, and less time watching Fox & Friends?
Your cartoon is perfect. The SJC decision defies logic. As “Originalists,” aren’t they supposed to be thinking about the early days of our Union? Back in those olden days we had immigrants arriving frequently. We had educated men with compassion. It’s so difficult to imagine they would be so cruel as to send immigrants away to a dangerous foreign country without following The Constitution and providing due process.

Unconscionable!
It's getting sadder by the day. As always, captured to the point.
Following life in the US, your cartoons are getting darker. We, as a people, are failing.
I really get a little upset when I’m chuckling while being horrified. But thanks nonetheless.
John Roberts’ eyes. The pain and cluelessness. Ouch. And LOL. Followed by Sam Alito's orbs of vacuity. That was when the horror set in. Touché.
If only there was enough remorse to fill a thimble there …
If only.
So when the Court overturns “Loving v. Virginia”, I want to see a picture of the Six Stooges wearing white hoods!
And when Clarence and Ginny have to file for divorce.
Whoa, Kathryn! That never occurred to me! Bluntly, it couldn't happen to a nicer couple.
She might be able to keep him as... property, if he is still useful.

MUA-HAHAHAHAHA!! No one expects the SCOTUS Inquisition!
"Our chief weapons are fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, and a fanatical devotion to Trump!"
The formula of fidelity has shifted from for the nation to for the ogre.
Not sure my body can continue to support the impotent rage I feel every single day.
Pamela, I sincerely feel you!

You may have heard how Jon Stewart described Leavitt's Pinocchio tell? The more lies she tells, the bigger her cross gets.

It's all more than a little horrifying. But very sad as well. I mean ... can you imagine living those lives?

Brilliant and cutting thank you! The hapless look on “hapless” Roberts’s face!

A- what a masterful representation of what our highest court has become. Such a sickening day for the rule of law. Their decision is evil.

That is a horrible decision. The Supreme Court should be ashamed of themselves.
Citizens United, anyone? Dobbs? Presidential immunity? They have been paid handsomely to support autocracy. DEPORT THEM ALL
You draw it like it is.
