Boy, do I ever feel you, Skepticat. From my perspective, every day brings multiple new outrages, and I strongly feel that the greater danger now is Muskrat. The main difference is Muskrat really is brilliant. He can run rings around the Very Stable Genius, and in fact, he literally has, bounding about the stage like the lunatic he is! Moreover, Muskrat is also a malignant narcissist who totally lacks empathy or sympathy. He does not care!

Together, these demented, flaked-out freaks are standing the world on its ear, and the autocrats are lovin' it. I really, truly do not know what we are supposed to do.

I am going to disagree about Musk being brilliant. He is not. He used his father's diamond mine money to purchase PayPal and also the idea of Tesla and other things. He really doesn't know much about computers according to people who have worked for him at Twitter. I do agree he is a lunatic, on the spectrum and has no social awareness. And yes, together with Trump, they are creating global chaos. Similar to what Trump did the first time, but now on steroids.

Hi, Kate. I based my assessment of brilliance on his, honestly, soaring imagination.

Quote: "Elon Musk (born June 28, 1971, Pretoria, South Africa) is a South African-born American entrepreneur who cofounded the electronic-payment firm PayPal and formed SpaceX, maker of launch vehicles and spacecraft. He was also one of the first significant investors in, as well as chief executive officer of, the electric car manufacturer Tesla. In addition, Musk acquired Twitter (later X) in 2022. Musk leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in U.S. Pres. Donald Trump’s second administration. Musk is the world’s richest person, with a net worth of $393 billion, as of 2025. "---- Source: Brittanica Money

Let me be clear: I hate him. I despise him. I fear him! As you wrote, "...he is a lunatic, on the spectrum and has no social awareness." That part does not bother me. I know and am friends with several people of that description. I am a very empathetic person. I could continue to admire him ---- IF HE STAYED IN HIS DAMN LANE!

Of course, the reason an unelected immigrant is sitting in the catbird seat today is Trump. Trump put him there and let him run wild because Trump is both stupid and lazy. Trump's insane vision has placed our beloved country in deathly peril: It seems (seems) to be rocketing into a dictatorship. As Erwin Rommel remarked of Hitler's "administration," it was Wolkenkuckucksheim----Cloud cuckoo land. (Rommel ultimately lost his head for assisting in the July 1944 plot to assassinate Hitler).

Sorry. I am rambling. I am beyond upset---obsessed---with what is happening in real time.

Sorry I will disagree again on his “soaring imagination “. He used his father’s apartheid diamond mine money to purchase PayPal (not co- founded) as well as the concept of Tesla and other companies. He has not designed or constructed anything. He used his money to purchase the election for Trump and Trump owes him big time. Elon is not a genius, not a great businessman or even close. Look at what he has done to Twitter.

I guess I was just ignorant. It doesn't matter anyway. The guy is bats**t crazy. Running around with a chainsaw shows his lunatic mindset. Trump is mad, stupid, or demented (my wife of 47 years died from complications of dementia, so I've seen it firsthand). What this demented so-called government is doing is terrifying, and what is more terrifying is that no one seems to be doing anything to stop this mad king and his Orcs.

Muskrat glories in "moving fast and breaking things." He seems to be very good at it. He also has no morals, no moral compass, and being the Richest Man in the World, why should he?

I don't dare write down what I would really like to see happen.

I disagree. 47 didn't buy a bunch of billionaires. The bunch of billionaires paid too much for 47! At his age, who would pay a penny for that!!!

They put Muskrat in charge and plan to bleed every last penny out of the peasant and serf class until they finally figure out who is harming them. Other Oligarchs throughout history have found out the hard way. This time they are not hiding behind politicians. They are revealing themselves as the cause of everyone's misery. Luigi figured it out!

"With malice toward none (how about just one?), with parody for all..." Git along, Little DOGEie in the window.

♫♪ [chorus] How much is that DOGEie in the White House

Intending our country to fail?

We must show that DOGEie in the White House

Our country, it isn’t for sale.

A slick neoNazi Afrikaner

Invaded our once-sane U.S.

He lied on his visa application;

They’re clearly not sending their best. [chorus]

The MAGAs lay blame on immigration.

Illegals, they say, are a glut.

So toss out the worst of the offenders

On his pasty immigrant butt! [chorus]

The MuskRat procured the Orange Menace

With dollars from postings and cars.

In thanks, let’s fulfill his heart’s desire:

A SpaceX-brand journey to Mars. (One way!) [chorus] ♫♪
